Stanley F. Eicke


Stanley F. Eicke, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Nov, 14, 2023, at Guthrie Corning Hospital, Corning, NY.
Stan was born in Norwich, NY to Fred and Birdella Eicke. Stan’s parents owned Eicke’s Restaurant in Norwich, NY, where Stan worked when he was young and learned the art of cooking. Stan loved to cook for his family and friends and often. His dinners were the highlight of many Sunday afternoon get togethers. Stan was retired from Frontier Communications after many years of service.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 28 years, Yvonne Eicke of SC; sister Shirley Burton of Norwich, NY; his daughters Cindy Eicke of Syracuse, NY and Beth (Greg) Dean of Norwich, NY; and son Eric (Julie) Eicke of Melbourne, FL. In addition, Stan is survived by six stepchildren, Robert (Brenda) Stoquert, SC; Wayne (Doreen) Stoquert of Glenville, NY; Wendy (James) Kosty of Horseheads, NY; Rose-Marie Stoquert of TX; Mona Noble of Unadilla, NY; (Ron Losie) of Otego, NY; Thomas (Angela) Stoquert of TN. Stan was predeceased by his sister Mary Eicke.
Stanley had many grandchildren: Hudson and Hayden Eicke, Derek Franklin, Rebecca Divis, Andrew and Gregory Stoquert, Michael Joseph Divis, Taylor Noble, Taylor Divis, Hannah Stoquert, Brooke Lauko, Wyatt and Ethan Stoquert, McKayla, McKennaand McKinzie Hernandez, Harper and Paisley Franklin, Arlo and Sullivan Guarino, Roman and Jameson Stoquert, River Noble and Winter Lauko.
There will be no services for Stanley per his request. He will be laid to rest with his beloved best canine friend, Missy, in Oxford, NY.
In lieu of flowers, we suggest honoring Stan by making a donation to your local SPCA or consider adopting a pet to love as Stanley truly loved his.
