Wade Robert Haynes, age 64, of Beacon Falls, CT, entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2023, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the devoted husband of 24 years to Sharon (Tyler) Haynes.
He was born in Norwich, New York on December 8, 1958, son of Jean (Figary) Haynes and the late Robert Haynes. Wade earned a degree in Turf Management from UMASS, which led him to designing golf courses for various country clubs and becoming the superintendent at Whitney Farms Golf Course. A Beacon Falls resident for over 20 years, he was known to have the best looking lawn in Town. Wade enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, skeet shooting, collecting remote control helicopters, nights by the firepit, and metal detecting during trips to Cape Cod.
Wade is also survived by his sister Nancy Haynes-Smithson and her husband Philip, sisters-in-law, Dawn Sharpe and Joan Kowalski, ten nieces and nephews, Jason, Warren, Sarah, Samantha, Edward, Evan, Tabatha, Noah, Cali, and Tyler, four great nieces and nephews, Mason, Camden, Maverick, and Avery Jean, and aunts Lucille Figary and Dorris Barton. He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Warren Tyler and John Sharpe Jr..
