Martha S. Wilson, 65, of Reese Rd., Earlville NY, passed away September 16, 2023 at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City, NY.
She was born on March 21, 1958 in Hamilton, a daughter of LeRoy R. and Beatrice Excell Baker and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School. On June 17, 1978, Martha married Darwin E. Wilson in Earlville. He predeceased her on February 1, 2020. Martha had been a private childcare provider; worked for Apple Converting in Sherburne and then the Mid York Press in Sherburne until her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, knitting and reading. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished the times spent with her family.
Surviving are her son, Chet B. Wilson of Earlville; daughter Elizabeth M. Wilson (fiance’ Tommy Thomas) of Norwich; grandchildren, Juliette and Emma; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, William and Ronald Excell.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. followed immediately by the funeral service at 6 p.m.
Interment will be at the convenience of her family.
