Randy S. Brown, 53, of Norwich, passed away on July 16, 2023. He was born in Norwich to Peter and Laura Marshall. He is also survived by his wife, Tammy; his children, Justin Lamphere (Lydia), Jamie Brown Weckworth (Barry), Kathleen Brown (Dallas), Jennifer Brown (Hayden), Laura Brown, and Linda Brown; his grandchildren, Emma, Sylar, Tobias, Spencer, Ailee, Madeline, Gunner, Aidan, Lily, Connor, Maverick, and Sophia; his brothers, Doug, Danny, Mike, Dennis, David, and Brian Brown; his sister, Theresa Hartwell; his mother in law, Linda Lamphere; his brothers in law, James and Jason Lamphere; as well as his canine companion and best friend, Eli.
Randy was predeceased by his father in law, James Lamphere, Jr.; his aunt, Clarissa Palmer; and his uncle, Doug Marshall.
Randy was a hardworking man who spent many years in building maintenance at Norwich City School, a job he was very proud of. He was the man who could be counted on to save the day whenever any of his family members were in trouble, often going out of his way to help even if he didn’t have to. He truly was an excellent husband, father, grandfather and son. He loved watching the NY Giants and Motley Crue was by far his favorite rock band.
A celebration of Randy’s life will be announced at a future date.
