John William Cobb, 55, died February 16, 2023 from aggressive cancers. He was born July 19, 1967. Graduating from Norwich High School in 1985. He enlisted in the Air Force that August.
He is survived by his mother, Rena Bartlett, Cobb, Hall and her husband David Hall and His maternal Aunt Shirley Raichle all of Florida. His brother Charlie Cobb of Ballston Spa, NY. His sister Janet Willis of Norwich, NY and her son Brandon Willis and Brandon’s husband Nino Melo, both of Kingston, Ontario.
John is also survived by Kamron McAbee, the son of his heart, and by Amber McAbee, his friend and Kamron’s mother. Both of Warner Robins, Ga.
He is survived by his lifelong friend from Norwich Mike Rose.
John was predeceased by his father Chauncey W. Cobb, Jr.
John was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force having served several tours in the Mid East and other locations. He later worked as a realtor for Fickling and Co. in Warner Robins, Ga, and in the local schools as a substitute teacher. He loved his dogs and was an expert at training any dog.
Private arrangements were made. There will be no formal funeral.
