He owned and operated Parkers Wheel and Brake Service and later ventured into the real estate industry with his wife and opened Peggy Parker Real Estate in 1986. This was followed by Parker Homes and Parkers Seamless Raingutters.
Jerry has been known throughout the country for his expertise in the Atlantic memorabilia and enjoyed the shows where he was acquainted with so many with the same interest. Throughout his adult life, Jerry enjoyed the relaxation and peace that hunting and fishing brought to him.
Humbled by his Lion of the Year award years ago, he served quietly in the community that supported him and gave generously to so many through his service above self.
Family and friends gathered at the Parley Funeral Home in Venice, Fla. on Friday, April 16, at 6 p.m., followed by a viewing of the sunset and a beach memorial service.
