EARLVILLE – Reba M. Lindholm, 95, of Earlville, passed away Monday April 19, 2010 at Sitrin Health Care Center, New Hartford.
She was born May 14, 1914 in Jonesboro, Tenn. a daughter of the late Rolland H. and Ola B. Byrd Treadway. At the age of six, Reba and her family moved to Smyrna, where she received her education and had lived most of her life. On July 8, 1934 at the Smyrna United Methodist Church, she was united in marriage to Niels C. Lindholm. He predeceased her on Aug. 22, 1985.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, West Edmeston. Reba was employed at the Harding Nursing Home, Waterville, from 1960 -1971 as a Nurses Aide.
A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, she leaves a son, Melvin R. and Mary A. Lindholm of Sweetwater, Tenn.; a daughter Barbara Allen of Longmont, Colo.; a sister Edith Perry of Medina; a brother Robert Treadway of Sherburne. Also surviving are her 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mamie Shelton and Mattie Roe, and a brother, Daniel Treadway.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home 3 Preston St., Earlville. Friends are invited and may call Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Internment will be in the Willcox Cemetery, Earlville, (Town of Smyrna).
