Amy S. Ryan French
Amy S. Ryan French, 48, of O’Hara Dr., Norwich, passed away at her home on December 30, 2022.
She was born on January 14, 1974 in Norwich, a daughter of Barbara Ryan and was a graduate of Norwich High School. Amy was the manager of Mirabito Fuel in Norwich and had previously worked for the Country Store and Champion Products in Norwich. She enjoyed camping, fishing and “Golden Girls” coffee time. Family time was her greatest joy, especially the times spent with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Brandon French (Jennifer Webb), Thaddeus (Katherine) French, and McKenzie French (Cameron Griffin); sisters, Billlie Jo Strait (Grover Lee), Heather (Andrew) Jackson; grandchildren, Abygayle Werpechowski, Ella Jane French, Brynleigh Griffin, Thaddeus French, Jr., and soon-to-be-born, Lainey Griffin; aunt and bonus mother, Beverly Wismer; aunt, Rosalind Ryan; uncles, Lawrence (Karen) Ryan, Herbert (Martha) Ryan; mother-in-law, Dixie Livingston; cousins, Brenda and Chadwick White, AmyJo Thompson, Caroline and Perry Koerts; nieces and nephews, Michael Albertina, III (Mary Lynn Sweeney), Kaitlin Albertina (Joseph Ohl), Haleigh and Zachary VanOven, Chandler Jackson, Landon Albertina, Annaliese Jackson, Dannica Jackson, and baby boy Ohl, the first great nephew soon to be born; childhood best friends, Lisa Hall, Tommi Robertson, caring companion, Tootsie. She was predeceased by her mother Barbara Ryan, grandparents, Eugene and Caroline Ryan; aunt, Constance Ryan; uncles Eugene Ryan, Jr., Jonathan Ryan, Gary Ryan and Kenneth “Freckles” Wismer; and a nephew, Keegan Jackson.
Services will be held at Noon on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
There will be a family gathering at the United Church of Christ in Sherburne following the service.
Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Norwich in the spring.
