NORWICH – Thuvia (Sue) Morano, daughter of the late Joseph and Henrietta Morano was born March 23, 1926 in Hudson Falls.
She went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2010 at Valley Terrace in Spartanburg, S.C. She is survived by a sister Rita M. Watts and a brother Edward Morano and wife Charlotte; one nephew, Scott Morano; and four nieces, Melissa Berry and husband Craig, Lynette Sepello and husband Dan, Suzanne Kraus and husband Doug, and Michelle Watts. Three grand nieces and two grand nephews also survive.
She was a missionary to Japan for two terms, taught in the public and christian school districts for a number of years and was last employed by the Cherokee County Tax Office of South Carolina.
A memorial service will be held for Sue at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary Baptist Church in Norwich.
