Zachary Ernest Silas Fry, 31, of Thornhurst, PA, formerly of Sherburne, NY, died Friday, May 13, 2022 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born on January 14, 1991 in Hamilton, NY, a son of Shawn and Joanne L. Bergner Fry and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School where he was voted “most original”. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Hospitality and Business Management from Johnson Wales University in Rhode Island. Zachary was employed at the Walmart Distribution Center #6080 in Tobyhanna, PA. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and hiking with his two sons. He was very tech savvy and had a passion for technology. Zach had a love for cooking and culinary art which he was teaching his boys and they were his helpers.
Zachary was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Sherburne.
Surviving are his fiancée, Rachael Cummings; his sons, Dominic and Killian; his parents, Josie and Patrick Marshall of Clifton Township, PA; Shawn and Vickie Fry of Sherburne; maternal grandparents, William and Lois Bergner of Sherburne; a sister, Rebecca (Daniel) Sabo of Milford, PA; step-siblings, Shawn Marshall (Genevieve Moore), Adam Marshall, Patrick Marshall all of Norwich, NY; John Snow, Jr. (Renea Palmer) of Lebanon, NY; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Marjorie Fry.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne on Thursday, May 26th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, Classic St., Sherburne at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
