Arlene Fraser


GREENE – Arlene “Pudge” Fraser, 77, of Greene, went to be with her Lord on March 25, 2010 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1932 in Binghamton, a daughter of the late Reginald and Irene (Kennedy) Gillette. She was married to Robert Fraser, who passed away on Feb. 21, 1990.
She is survived by her children, Michael Fraser and fiancée Deb Taylor and daughter, Cindy Fraser Stoddard; her grandchildren, Casie and Paul Richline, and Tyler and Rachael Stoddard ; and great granddaughter, Madison and her sister in law Gladys Slater. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Very active in Greene, she was known by many as “The Card Lady.”
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 30 at 2 p.m. at Zion Episcopal Church N. Chenango St., Greene with The Rev. Charles Taylor and Pastor Jeff Cutting officiating. Burial will be in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene.
Friends may call at Zion Episcopal Church, Greene on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greene Fire Department.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kennedy Funeral Home, 21 N. Chenango St., Greene.
