Korey A. Crandall, 23, of County Road 20, Smyrna, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 20, 2022.
He was born in Hamilton, NY on March 13, 1998, a son of Jerry A. and Kathleen M. Costantini Crandall. He received his education in Sherburne-Earlville schools and studied conservation at B.O.C.E.S. On August 31, 2020, Korey married Rachel L. Taylor in West Smyrna. Korey had worked at Price Chopper in Norwich, HR Refuse, LLC of Georgetown and most recently for Guiles Barn & Silo in Smyrna. He had a great sense of humor and his laugh was contagious. He loved the outdoors, working on his truck and tinkering. He had attended the West Smyrna Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Rachel; father, Jerry A. Crandall of Smyrna; paternal grandmother, Viola Price Howe of Sherburne; a sister and brother, Kendra Crandall and Tyler Crandall, both of Sherburne; nephew and nieces, Dilen, Emma and Saria; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Kathleen in 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be in the Willcox Cemetery, Smyrna in the spring
