MILFORD - Dennis M. Tefft, 67, of Milford died peacefully Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his home.
Born June 13, 1954, in Norwich, Dennis was the son of Marcene (Barbara) Tefft and the late Cora Tefft. Dennis is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Tefft, and his children Jacob (Jeanine) Tefft and Jennifer (Aaron) Bruce. He is predeceased by his daughter Ashley Tefft. He is also survived by his buddy “Winston.” Additionally, he is survived by two granddaughters, a great granddaughter, three sisters, four brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Dennis loved watching his many birds from the window, hunting, archery, playing softball and spending time with his family. People looked forward to his daily posts and will miss his sense of humor.
The family would like to thank the many nurses and doctors who helped care for Dennis during his battle with scleroderma.
Calling hours will be held at the Tillapaugh Funeral Home, 28 Pioneer St., Cooperstown from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Burial will occur in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis’ memory can be made to the National Scleroderma Foundation (scleroderma.org) and Helios Care (297 River St. Service Rd., Oneonta, NY 13820)
