Ford Cortright Seymour, 85, of Earlville, NY, passed away October 27, 2021 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, after a brief illness.
He was born February 17, 1936 in Cortland, NY, a son of Alec and Adelpha Cortright Seymour and lived in Earlville for the past sixty years. Ford was an optimistic guy who taught Technology Education for thirty years in the Sherburne-Earlville School District. Since his retirement in 1991, he built a log home and continued to work in his own handyman business doing home repairs until his time of death. He was a lifetime member of both the Earlville Boy Scouts of America and the Earlville Fire Department, where he volunteered for decades.
Funeral services and interment will be at the convenience of his family.
There will be no calling hours.
