Harry James Warner


Harry James Warner, 73, of Norwich went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, in the comfort of his home.
Harry was born in Norwich on June 21, 1948, the son of Stanley R. and Eloine (Youman) Warner. He grew up in the Norwich area and attended the Norwich schools. Over the years he worked as a self-employed carpenter. Harry was a devoted Christian and was known as a “Jack of all trades”. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He loved to write poetry, play musical instruments, hunt, fish and spend time with his family.
On December 30, 1983, in South Plymouth he married Josephine Satterlee who survives. Besides his wife Josephine of Norwich, Harry is survived by his children, Kevin (Sue) Kohout of Davenport, Lisa (Art) Palmer of McDonough, James (Colleen) Donnelly of Oxford, Harry Donnelly Jr. of Norwich and Michael Donnelly also of Norwich. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Harry was predeceased by his son BJ, his parents, 4 brothers and 2 granddaughters.
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF CEMETERY SERVICE: A graveside service for Harry will be held on Friday, October 29, at 11:00 a.m. from the South Side Cemetery in Plymouth.
A Celebration of Life will follow at the Plymouth Fire House. A special thank you to Officer Nicholas Mooney of the City of Norwich Police Department for his kind and giving help during a very difficult time.
