Doris Irene (Utter) Guyer, 65, of Waterville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2021. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She also loved her animals, especially her birds. She led a wonderful life with her family and friends and she could always be counted on to be in church with a smile on her face every Sunday morning. She used to volunteer to help the children at the Christian school until its closing. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and she won’t be soon forgotten.
Doris leaves behind her loving husband of 43 years, Robert; her daughters, Theresa and Mak Allen, and Jessica Zielinski and Tom Mills; her grandsons, Mike, Daryan, Ethan, and Eli; her unborn granddaughter, Mia, who she will watch over forever; her two sisters, Alice Guyer, and Merla and Scott Todd; her aunt, Rosemary and Danny Stacey; several nieces, nephews and friends. Doris was predeceased by her infant son, Michael; and her parents, Merle and Irene Utter as well as several other family members and friends. May she watch over all of us as she walks with the Lord. We will all miss her down here. Rest in peace until we meet again.
A memorial service for Doris will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 15, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich with Pastor Jerry Race officiating. Burial will take place privately at Riverview Cemetery in Oxford.
A celebration of life for Doris, followed by a time of fellowship will take place at Faith Chapel, 9635 US Rt. 20, Bridgewater on Saturday, October 16.
