Boyd Linn Ashton
Boyd Linn Ashton born March 10, 1952, of Norwich NY. Passed Saturday September 25, 2021. The Ashton Family mourns the loss of their loved one Boyd Ashton.
Boyd was a man that loved like no other. The loss of him is felt deeply by so many. Boyd’s most defining characteristic is how strong his love was for the people in his life. He built homes for those he loved, he made every sacrifice necessary for the ones he loved, and no matter what would occur or any circumstance his love for those around him was unwavering. For the last twenty years he was a man defined by a childlike innocence that few others experience twice in one life and with it he brought great joy and laughter to those around him. His loss is deeply felt by all of his loved ones as he was someone who took great pride in his family. To him, his family were his angels and now he is theirs.
He is survived by his wife Rebecca Robbins Ashton of Norwich, his children Shawn Ashton and Tara Unger Ashton of Earlville and Piper Ashton and John Hoxie of Plymouth, grandchildren Shelby and Mike Ashton Doyle, Wyatt Sands, Taylor Ashton and Sage Ashton, 1 great grandchild Addison Doyle, and his siblings Eric and Sue Ashton of Long Island, Stephen and Barbara Ashton of Sherburne, Brenda and Larry Ashton Crandall of Sherburne, Mark Ashton and Anna Nelson of Sherburne, Marsha and Stephen Ashton Cornelius of Norwich, Janice Ashton of Plymouth, Greg and Denise Ashton of Plymouth, and Penny and David Ashton Schwartfager of Dansville.
He is predeceased by his two parents Theodora Brown and Glenn Ashton. As well as his two brothers David Ashton and Bruce Ashton. He thought the world of all of them and as the family lays him to rest they think the world of him. Calling hours and service will be held Thursday at The R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. Calling hours are 11-1pm, with funeral following afterwards.
