GREENE – J. Elsworth Orr, 95, of Greene, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Northwoods Rehabilitation Center in Cortland.
He was predeceased by his wife, Leona on Aug. 12, 1999; two sons, Carlton and Gwen; and by a granddaughter, Jane.
Elsworth is survived by daughter, Cecile Bartle of Oxford; son and daughter-in-law, Neal and Sally Orr of Muncy, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Elsworth was a lifelong dairy farmer.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22 at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’'s choice.
