Thomas A. Ruquet, 78 of Oxford passed away on September 6, 2021, at his home with his grandson by his side. He was born on July 27, 1943, in New York City a son of the late Edward and Helen (Salerno) Ruquet. On September 10, 1967, he married Vita Vitale, who passed away on May 25, 2016.
He is survived, by his children, Frank and his wife, Teresa Ruquet, and Joanne and her husband, Michael Cutler; his brother, Terrance Ruquet; his grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Rylee Ruquet, Anthony and his wife, Stacey Ruquet, Elizabeth and her husband, Joshua Beadle, Frank and his wife, Samantha Ruquet, Justin Ruquet, Kimberly Ruquet, Stephanie, and David; and his great grandchildren, Hailee, Tommy, Emalee, Zoey, Casen, Natalee, Brooklynn, Marianna, and Adelynne, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased; by his siblings: Edward, Donald, Kenneth, Gloria Dorsi, and Herbert.
Tom loved turning wrenches and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed building club houses for his grandchildren, his WWE wrestling and Family always was first in his life. He was also long- time member of the Brookhaven Fire Department.
