Darlene E. Manwarren, 79, of Norwich and most recently of Sherburne passed away Saturday morning, August 14, 2021 at the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Darlene was born in Norwich on May 30, 1942 the daughter of Jesse and Waneta (Wilson) Brazee. She spent her entire life in the area where she attended the local schools. Over the years Darlene had worked for the Norwich Shoe Company and most recently for Chenango Valley Technologies.
Devoted to her family Darlene’s most enjoyable time was that she spent with her family.
Darlene is survived by her husband Leon Manwarren of Norwich, her children Dianna (Ken) Knickerbocker of No. Norwich, David (Jody Seymour) Shurock of No. Norwich, Doreen Shurock of Norwich and Donald Shurock and his fiancée Anna Brazee of Sherburne. Also surviving is her sister Joyce (Roland) Donnelly of Norwich and David Brazee of Sherburne. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Darlene was predeceased by her first husband Donald Shurcok Sr. along with many siblings.
A graveside service for Darlene will be held on Friday, August 27, at 1:00 pm from the South Plymouth Cemetery. The Rev. Jeremy Stopford will officiate.
There will be no calling hours.
