Cinda M. Gregory of Sherburne, NY, passed away peacefully in her home on May 11th, surrounded by friends and family. Her fight with cancer was just 3 days short of 7 years. During those years she showed true courage and faith, never giving up or giving in. Rather than falling under a diagnosis, she chose to live. Her love for life was contagious as she taught all those around her not just to exist, but to live a vibrant life.
Cinda met her husband Robert Gregory when she was 16, and together they found adventure at every turn. Together they started and ran Pleasant Valley Antiques, which has been open for close to 40 years now. They had three daughters; Sarah, Jamie, and April, all who have children of their own. Their love for people led them into multiple ministries, focusing on marriages and blessing people. Wherever they went, they were praying for people for healing and blessing them.
Cinda had a true love for Jesus and people that was tangible and real. She continually had people calling or coming to her for advice and wisdom, and she wouldn’t hesitate in spending time with them and helping them. Even as she was lying in a hospital bed in her home, she was still helping people and praying for them. Cinda would celebrate with you, cry with you, and walk through hard things with you.
The community of people that came around Cinda and Bob in the last 7 years has been a true testament of the amazing team they were, and the impact they had on those around them. Cinda will be truly missed, but she has left a legacy of love in her wake.
There will be a memorial service to honor the life and legacy of Cinda M. Gregory on Saturday, May 22nd at 2:00 PM. It will be held at Randallsville New Life Church 1528 River Road Hamilton, NY 13346.
