PROVIDENCE, RI – Catherine Schulte-Hamilton, 49, of Lorimer Avenue, passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at Women & Infants Hospital surrounded by family and friends. 
She was the wife of Gregory W. Hamilton and the daughter of Myrna M. (Schneider) Schulte and the late Bernard J. Schulte.  Besides her husband and mother, Cathy is survived by her daughter Emily M. Hamilton and her brother Mark J. Schulte.  She is also survived by 11 nieces and three nephews.
A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Cathy was employed as an account manager with Amerinet, Inc. Cathy had previously been employed by Jordan Marsh Company as sales manager, assistant buyer and buyer. In addition she had been employed by Kasper A.S.L. and Liz Claiborne Sportswear Co as a merchandise coordinator.
Cathy was an active member of St. Sebastian’s parish and was a past president and secretary of the R.I. Catholic School Parents Federation and a founding member of the board of directors of JUMP! Inc., a youth dance company.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday at St. Sebastian Church, Cole Ave., Providence. Calling hours were Sunday in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence.
