Sal and Eileen raised their young family in Levitown, NY where Sal was a bar owner, football and little league coach, Roslyn Gun Club and NRA member.
They moved to Hillsboro, NH in 1976. He was drawn to that area because of Eileen’s Aunt Emily and Uncle Lou Werner of Windsor, NH. Sal was the owner and operator of Sal’s Townhouse, Henniker NH and Sal’s Restaurant Hillsboro, NH. He ventured on to employment with OSRAM, Sylvania and as a supervisor with Frameworks. He was a member and usher at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. He greatly enjoyed numerous close friends in Hillsboro. Played Golf, Boating on Pierce lake, down-hill and cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
In 1995, Sal and Eileen retired to Venice, Florida. He continued to maintain strong personal relationships with close friends and family until 2018 when he relocated to Norwich, NY because caring for his wife with Alzheimer’s Disease became too tough without his children nearby.
Thank you Norwich NY for welcoming our dad into your community, he truly enjoyed his time here.
In the springtime, we will announce a funeral mass at St. Bart’s, burial at St. Pauls’ Cemetery and a celebration of life Shindig!
