SHERBURNE – Marie V. Miller, 80, of W. State St., passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at the Valley View Manor Nursing Home, Norwich.
She was born in Smyrna on March 13, 1929, a daughter of the late Leonard and Grace Parks Bartlett. She was a graduate of Earlville High School and the Syracuse Business School. On July 15, 1949, Marie was united in marriage to Donald C. Miller in Poolville. He predeceased her on May 24, 1989. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Poolville United Methodist Church; and was also a member of the Hamilton Grange for many years. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Marie had worked for Hodges Department Store in Sherburne, and had also owned and operated her craft store Marie’s Cupboard, Crafts and Collectibles in Sherburne.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Judith and John Muhlfeld of Earlville; two sons, Donald Miller of Long Beach, Calif. and Steven Miller of Sherburne; a brother and sister-in-law Howard and Mona Bartlett of Kennesaw, Ga.; grandchildren Amber and Clinton Blinebry of Earlville; Matthew and Vicki Miller of Norwich; Baille Miller of Sherburne as well as five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother James Bartlett.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville.
Interment will be held in the spring in the Earlville Cemetery. 
Friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service.
