Robert H. Stackhouse, 78, of Norwich passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Norwich Rehabilitation Center. Bob was born in Norwich on July 14, 1942 the son of Harry and Mable-Bell (Canfield) Stackhouse. He grew up on the family farm in North Norwich and was a graduate of the Sherburne School. A farm boy at heart, Bob loved the outdoors and was a logger for most of his adult life. He loved hunting and fishing and had taught several hunter safety courses. Bob also had driven bus for the Sherburne-Earlville School system and owned a gravel bed in North Norwich. In his leisure time Bob and his wife had traveled to Alaska, Colorado and Texas.
Bob is survived by his wife Betty of Norwich, his daughters Roberta Stackhouse of Sherburne and Jennifer (Robert) Gomez of TX, sisters Mary Trask of Sherburne, Irene (Randy) Nelson of Norwich and his grandson Loghan Gomez. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Bob was predeceased by his brother Raymond Stackhouse.
In keeping with Bob’s wished there will be no formal services.
