Jeramie Vincent Yacono, 28, of Sherburne, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 11, 2020. He was born December 29, 1991 in Norwich, NY to Vincent and Anna (Brazee) Yacono.
He is survived by his parents; brothers, Kristopher and Eddie Kovack, Joshua Yacono (Christine Davis), and Cody Norton (Jessica VonDauber). Also survived by a niece and nephews, Justiss and Dallas Kovack, Aiden Davis, Dalton Yerton and Bentley Yacono; his grandmother, Catherine McNitt; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Most importantly, he leaves behind his companion Amy Morgan and her two boys, Jude and Liam, who were the loves of his life.
Jeramie was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville Central School in 2010 and Alfred University with a degree in art in 2014. In his younger years he was very active in Boy Scouts, going on many campouts and a group trip to Key West, FL. He earned his Eagle Scout rank restoring the Park St. Champ fountain and benches as part of his project. During his high school years, he also worked at Service Pharmacy in Sherburne and bought his first car. In his college summers, he kept Sherburne “spiffy” working with the Village crew. After college, he worked in Massachusetts doing landscaping and grounds maintenance before returning to Sherburne to help his father and brothers in their plumbing business.
Jeramie loved creating pottery with his wheel and kiln and was very talented. He also enjoyed gardening. Making jams and venison jerky were his specialties.

Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 5-8pm.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
A celebration of Jeramie’s life will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
