On Monday October 7, 2019, Robin A. Bennett Hilts Young a loving mother & wife passed away at the age of 63. Robin was born July 8, 1956 in Norwich, NY to Frances E. Bennett & Florence C. (Sayles) Bennett. Robin was married to Darrell T. Hilts of Norwich, NY for over twenty years who is now deiced. Robin remarried on June 6, 2009 to Lawrence H. Young of Bainbridge, NY.
Robin was a very Loving individual who worked odd jobs while raising her children, then found herself working at Amphonel in Sidney,NY. Robin enjoyed spending her precious time with her beloved family & friends. Robin helped her children with their sports, where she volunteered over 14 spirited years with the Norwich Wrestling Boasters; treating all the wrestlers as her own childern. Supporting, praising, comforting and giving the wrestlers advice when needed as well as doing many tasks the boasters needed done. Robin was always willing to help the boasters when needed. Robin was a caring women devoted to her family, Known for her extremely Loving compassionate heart, humor & blunt honesty. Robin loved owls, God, Christian & country music.
Robin was preceded in death by her dad Frances Bennett, mom Florence (Sayles) Bennett & sister-n-law Mary A.(Smith) Bennett. Robin was survived by her husband Lawrence Young & her Children; Tanya Hilts, Thomas Hilts, Trish Hilts & Buck Kinney, Brandon Jones(unofficially adopted son) & step sons, LV & Crystal Young, Christopher Young. Robin was survived by grandchildren Nisa Latif, Vydalya Young, Olivir Hilts, Jasmine Young, Austin Young, Logan Mattice & Kenzee Kinney. Robin was also survived by her siblings Wayne Bennett, Mark & Laurie Bennett, Fank & Sherry Bennett, Crystal & Donnie Riddle, Joy & Dave MacLaury, as well as many beloved nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday October 19, 2019 at the East Pharsalia Baptist Church at 841 County Road 10*East Pharsalia, NY 13758 at 11:30am. Followed by a pot luck(a complete list of what is being brought can be found on Tanya Hilts’ fb page) lunch across the road at East Pharsalia Fire Department all who knew & Loved Robin are welcome.
