Ross A. Primer, 80, of Earlville Rd., passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Waterville Residential Care Center.
He was born April 21, 1938 in St. Johnsville, NY a son of Stanley and Rosa Battisti Primer. He was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School and SUNY, Cobleskill. On July 26,1958, Ross married Carolyn Barker in St. Johnsville. Ross and Carolyn owned and operated C & R Electric in Earlville from 1968 until retiring in 2007. She predeceased him on November 23, 2014. Ross enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, camping in Old Forge and restoring old tractors.
Surviving are his children, Mark Primer of Eaton; Deborah and Frederick Brooks of Waterville; and Scott Primer of Earlville; and a granddaughter, Kara Primer.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Clifford Fulmer American Legion Post, 8083 Route 20, Waterville, NY on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 11am to 4pm.
Interment is private at the convenience of his family.
