Kornelis de Glee, 88, of South New Berlin, passed away on Saturday September 22, 2018 with his family beside him at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.

Kornelis was born on September 26, 1929 in Luchtenfeld, Netherlands and was a son of the late Jentje and Sjoukje (Bakker) de Glee.

He was a member of numerous organizations and a very proud veteran. He served our country in the United States ARMY during the Korean War. Kornelis devoted his life to our country and his family.

He is most notably known for being the patriarch of the de Glee Farms in South New Berlin and raising a family with the same heritage and values as himself.

Kornelis is survived by his loving wife, Trijntje de Glee; children, Jentje, Gerrit (Maureen), Jan, Jacob, Anna, and Kornelis Jr “KC”; grandchildren, Gerrit (Stephanie) de Glee, Lindsey (Brad) Schiellerd, and Hank de Glee; great-grandchildren, Brynn and Collins. He is also survived by a brother, Sjoerd de Glee in the Netherlands. He is predeceased by three sisters and four brothers.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Kurt Funke with military honors will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 1PM in the Hillington Cemetery in Morris.
