Priscilla Brunschmid-webb


SHERBURNE – Priscilla Ann Brunschmid-Webb, 63, of Shawler Brook Rd., passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at her home.
She was born June 8, 1946 in New Berlin, a daughter of the late Roy, Sr. and Laurel Davis Pierce. She was a graduate of Sherburne High School and had attended Morrisville Ag. & Tech. College. On July 4, 1978, Priscilla married Charles W. Brunschmid Sr. in South Hamilton. He predeceased her on May 31, 1994. She married Richard W. Webb in Norwich on Oct. 7, 2000. Priscilla was the office manager and bookkeeper for Bartles Pharmacy in Oxford for 13 years. She had previously worked for Valley View Nursing Home, Champion Co., and McLaughlins, all in Norwich. She loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding her Harley 883 Hugger Sportster with the U.S. Military Veterans Motorcycle Club of Central NY, (USMVMC, CNY) where her road name was “Diesel Anne.” She also enjoyed going on shopping bus trips.
Priscilla was a communicant of St. Malachy’s Church in Sherburne, and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the American Legion Post #876 Auxiliary of Sherburne.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; her children, Kari and Robert Buck of Sherburne; Melody and Andrew Phillips of Ontario, Canada; Ronald, Jr. and Jana Miller of Sherburne; brothers, Roy Jr. and Barbara Pierce of Sherburne; Edwin and Kitty Davis of West Edmeston; four grandchildren, Johnathan and Matthew Miller of Sherburne, Christopher and Bethany Phillips of Ontario, Canada, and several step-grandchildren. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved pet schnauzer, Satch, as well as her cats Missy and Chloe. Her schnauzer, Frosty predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from St. Malachy’s Church, East State St., Sherburne, followed by burial in St. Malachy’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.

Priscilla’s family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. David Haswell, the doctors and nurses at the Bassett cancer center and Hospice of Chenango County for the wonderful care given to her.
