Jacqueline D. Jillson


Jacqueline D. “Jackie” Jillson, 56, of River Rd., passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at UMass Memorial in Massachusetts.

She was born March 13, 1962 in Hamilton, a daughter of George and Dorothy (Clark) Genter and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School.

On August 29, 1987, Jackie married Marvin S. Jillson in West Eaton. Jackie had worked in the business office at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville for over 20 years.

She loved the outdoors, drinking coffee on her porch, reading and going to the beach in Florida with her best friend Lorie. Above all, Jackie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family and the wonderful times they spent together. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Earlville.

Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Marvin; her mother, Dorothy Genter of Sherburne; her children, Jason and Jillisa Lounsbury of Millerton, PA; Sandra Jillson and Tucker Ray of Hamilton; Stephanie Jillson and Kristopher Kovack of Sherburne; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Dale Nelson of Smyrna; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Julie Genter of Norwich; Jeffrey and Joleen Genter of Earlville; grandchildren, Jacee, Jake , Cole and Ryker; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws. She was predeceased by her father, George Genter.

Services and interment are private at the convenience of her family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, or to the American Diabetes Assoc.

Arrangements were entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, NY.
