Lola especially loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful homemaker. She took pleasure in gardening both flowers and vegetables.

She was an amazing cook and would sell her homemade baked beans and salads to the local supermarkets. Lola took delight in playing card games and reading magazines.

She had a quick mind for trivia and word puzzles, and was great at Jeopardy.

Lola enjoyed her membership in the Congregational Church of Oxford. She spent many happy occasions picnicking at Lake Ludlow with family and friends.

She also relished visiting family in Hawaii, California, Oregon and Maryland.

She appreciated the ability to travel to Las Vegas, NV, Hilton Head, SC, Branson, MO, Nashville, TN, Florida and Maine.

Lola loved music, and family would often hear her singing and playing the piano or listening to the radio.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Lola’s caretakers, Tammy and Judy, and all the others who have participated in her lengthy care.

There will be no funeral services.

A family celebration of life will be held at a future time. Her family asks that memorial contributions may be made to the Chenango County Area Agency Home Delivered Meals Program.
