Kenneth W. Beach, 87, formerly of Oxford, NY, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Caldwell Memorial Hospital, Lenoir, NC.

Kenneth was born in Cortland County, NY to Clyde and Ruth Underwood Beach.

Kenneth was a dairy farmer on Route 220, Oxford until he retired to North Carolina at the age of 55.

There he became actively involved with the Burke County Ruritan Club, COMMA, Grace Hospital, and Meals on Wheels, as well as his church.

Kenneth is predeceased by his first wife of 50 years, Wanda Filer Beach, and his sisters, Barbara Turner and Esther Jackson. He is survived by his second wife of almost 10 years, Joan Craig, and her family, NC.

Also surviving are Kenneth’s three children, Betsy Beach, NC; Crystal (William) Rudd, NY; William (Diana) Beach, AL; and four grandchildren, Bradley Beach, Joel Beach, Brandon Rudd, Kevin Rudd.

Also surviving are four brothers, Bruce (Polly) Beach, PA; Clyde (Janis) Beach, NY; Frank (Linda) Beach, AR; John (Elva) Beach, Germany; and three sisters, Betty McKenney, MI; Reta (Roger) McKee, NY; and Joan (Richard) Mathys, AR; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Lenoir, NC. Interment in Oxford will be private at the convenience of the family.
