Frank E. Wright, 99 yrs. old of Pittsfield, NY passed away on June 7, 2018 in Norwich, NY.

Frank was born on January 10, 1919 in Henderson, NY the son of Gad & Cora (Green) Wright.

His childhood was spent in the Pittsfield and New Berlin areas. He was a 1937 graduate of New Berlin Central School and served in the US Army from 1942-1945 during WWII as a MP and personnel driver.
On July 23, 1945 he married Mildred Cristman. She predeceased him on September 5, 1998.

Frank was employed by Kraft Foods, the New Berlin Dry Cleaners, the Otsego County Highway Department and served as a school bus driver and fireman for the New Berlin Fire Department. He was a stock car driver and enjoyed hill climbs.

He was also handy with motorcycles. Everyone would go to Franks to have their motorcycles repaired. He loved the Lord and spending time with his wife.

He was a member of the Berean Baptist Church of New Berlin and the Smyrna Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children; Frank N. Wright and Arlene Conkey, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY with Pastor Tim Button of the Smyrna Baptist Church officiating.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.

A burial with military honors will be held in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin, NY.
