Jay J. Vorhies, 59, formerly of Norwich and most recently of Delaware and Binghamton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 10, 2018, in Binghamton.

Jay was born in Norwich on January 10, 1959 the son of James and Laurie (Leigh) Vorhies. He grew up in Norwich and was a 1978 graduate of the Norwich High School.

While making his home in Norwich Jay had been employed by Victory Markets and NBT. For the past several years he has made his home in Delaware and most recently Binghamton.

Services for be private and at the convenience of the family with interment in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
