Our mother, Dorothy, passed away just shy of her 100th birthday. Born and raised in Clarks Green, PA she was the child of Bessie Molyneaux and Robert Carlton.

After graduating high school she attended Keystone Junior College in La Plume, PA for a year. After that she became a student at Kansas City Wesleyan with the hope of becoming a missionary.

She met and eventually married Robert W. Watson while they were both in college. They had 3 children.

A very private person, she enjoyed playing the piano, reading, listening to classical music, bird watching, going for walks in the woods, long car rides in the country wherever she and dad were living and spending time with her family.

After dad died she went to live with her son and daughter in law in Corpus Christi, Texas, until it was necessary for her to become a resident of Alameda Oaks Nursing Home in that city.

She is survived by her children Diana (Almon) Heeman, Esther (Russell) Busch, Gregory (Susan) Watson. Grandchildren Linda (Michael) Burnside, Alan Heeman, John Robert (Nanette) Heeman, Cherie Heeman, Jonah (Celeste) Watson, Michelle Curtis, Russell Busch, Jr., Tammy Busch, Chrissy (Jim) Turnball. Great Grandchildren Melissa (Steven) Emmons, Jaclyn (Scott) MacDonald, Michelle and Sara Heeman, Grayson and Noah Watson, Tessa and Carly Curtis and many great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, sister Jean, brother Robert and grandson Clayton Carlton Heeman.

The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date.
