James M. “Jim” Dungey, 54, of State Route 12, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at his home.
He was born July 23, 1963 in Hamilton, NY a son of Donald G., Sr. and Ruth Bice Dungey and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School. Jim had worked for the Sherburne-Earlville School District. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheelers, crafting, making afghans, watching tv and surfing the internet on his computer. He was of the Episcopalian faith.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ruth and Sidney Plows of Sherburne; five step-brothers and -sisters; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Dungey, Sr., and his brother, Donald Dungey, Jr.
In keeping with his wishes, there are no services.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne on Friday, April 20, from 1-3pm.
