Her smile, her laughter, her sense of humor were infectious and brightened the residents’ days. Fran was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who had a smile that would light up the room. She was a gracious hostess who loved to feed and mother everyone who came to visit. Shopping was her passion; her colorful outfits and coordinated jewelry are testament to this! Fran’s world were family and friends; precious memories made at Christmas time, making cookies with the grandchildren. Her sugar cookies were the best ever!
She was a member of the Columbus Community Church and the First United Methodist Church in Sherburne.
Surviving are her children, Floyd and Linda Winton of S. Plymouth; Barbara and Paul Diamond of Earlville; Michael Winton of Largo, FL; Cindy and Dorrance Burnett of Sherburne; Julie Murray and her fiancée Trish Lockwood of Sherburne; a sister, Ella Bates of Plymouth; grandchildren Shawn and Lynette Murray of Knoxboro; Kyle Winton and Melissa Pritchard of Solvay; Amanda Winton and fiancée Christina Power of N.
