GREENE – Richard R. Wynn, 51, of Fredericksburg, Va., died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
He was born Oct. 15, 1958 in Greene, a son of Thomas and Mary Dromgoole Wynn. Richard worked a myriad of jobs through the years such as chef, restaurant owner, automobile salesman, realtor and estimator for Ross Tree Service. He had many hobbies as well, enjoying playing guitar, art by the way of sketching his own comic book, fishing, golfing, and he loved to hunt and be in the outdoors. He also had his pilot’s license at one time. Richard had a passion for life and God. He was a devoted husband, father and friend.
Richard is survived by his wife, Rosalind (nee Resto) Wynn, who he married in 1990; three daughters, Maggie Wynn, Marian Wynn and Danielle Wynn; one step-son, Ivan (Madeline) Maldonado; one son, Thomas Wynn; two brothers, John (Kris) Wynn, and James (Kathy) Wynn; two sisters, Mary (Walt) Agnes Schmidt and Anne Treiber, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, followed by interment in St. Malachy’s Cemetery, Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
