Frank Fowlston


Frank Fowlston, 60, of Plymouth passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 30, 2017. Frank was born in Norwich and raised in Smyrna with Kirk and Stella McKee having a very large influence in his early years. Upon finishing school, Frank went to work at Dunckel Farms in the Preston which later became Deb El Foods located in Sherburne where he spent over 40 years as a dedicated, hardworking employee. When he wasn’t working, Frank spent his time volunteering for the Plymouth Fire Department where he served as chief for the last three years. Frank was also a fan of NASCAR, particularly the M&M team. He will be remembered by his family as a strong, courageous man always willing to help a family member or friend in need. Frank leaves behind his children, Frank Jr. and Danielle Fowlston, Amy and Tony Cox, and Shawn and Heather Fowlston; his grandchildren, Alexis Fowlston, Tre Fowlston, Cayden Fowlston, Skylar Fowlston, Zachary Fowlston, Dominic Fowlston, Cheyenne Cox, Aidan Cox, and Tristan Cox; his brothers and sisters, Richard and Marla Fowlston, of Syracuse, Mary King, Marjorie and Richard Chalifoux, of St. Petersburg, FL, Roger Fowlston, of Auburn, Homer Fowlston, Jr., James and Chris Fowlston, John and June Fowlston, and Gene and Millie McKee; his former wife and mother of his children, Christal Fowlston; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Homer and Edith Fowlston, Frank was predeceased by his brothers, Phillip Fowlston and Francis Fowlston. A memorial service for Frank will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
