Elise M. Beckert, 104 yrs. old of South New Berlin, NY passed away on September 23, 2017 at MIB Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.
Elise was born on November 26, 1912 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of George & Marie (Kohlberger) Rosenfelder. Her early childhood was spent in Yonkers. She later moved to South New Berlin. On September 15, 1947 she married Edward J. Beckert Jr. who predeceased her on April 28, 1987.
She is survived by her sons; Bruce & Sheila Beckert & James & Penny Beckert all of South New Berlin as well as grandchildren; Bryon & Markie Beckert, Erica Beckert & Sherry & Matt Damskov, 3 great grandchildren; Ava & Iris Damskov and Aubree Beckert, 4 step-grandsons; Brandon Roberts, Kyle & Sharon Roberts, Jonah Roberts and Andrew & Maria Roberts, 2 step great grandchildren and one very special niece, Carol Muller.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, South New Berlin, NY with Pastor Robert Decker officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the New Berlin or South New Berlin Emergency Squads.
