JOHN GINTER
John Ginter 76 yrs. old of Albany, NY passed away on September 6, 2017 at his home in Pittsfield, NY.
John was born on April 4, 1941 in Albany, NY the son of William & Mildred (Card) Ginter.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a police officer in Albany NY for 32 years.
John was a loving father and friend. He was well known for his comic relief and enjoyed socializing with his community, family & friends. He was also an avid outdoorsman.
On June 11, 2008 he married Pamela J. Chapin who predeceased him on June 20, 2014.
John is survived by his children; Michael Ginter of Denver Co., Sherri Allison of Denver, Co, Jeffrey Ginter of Nassau, NY and Jonathon Ginter of Rotterdam, NY. He is also survived by his sisters; Dorothy & Mildred Ginter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home, LP, New Berlin, NY with Reverend Richard Anderson officiating.
