Renee’ A. Furman, 39, born Nov. 3, 1977, and her 2 daughters,
Shyanne S. Wilbur, 19, born July 15, 1998, and Nicole J. Wilbur,
14, born April 19, 2003, were all killed on Aug. 16, 2017 in a tragic
car accident. They had lived in Little River, SC for the last 10 years.
They are survived by Todd Furman, husband and step-father; Kirsten
Wilbur, 20, and Megan Wilbur, 16, daughters and sisters; Tasha
Furman, 20, of NY, step-daughter and step-sister; Carol Wilt, mother
and grandmother of CO; and much more loving family.The girls were
pre-deceased by their father, and Renee’s first husband, Billy Wilbur.
Renee’ worked at Comfort Keepers where she devoted a lot of her
time making sure people had the help they needed. She was a loving
mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She spent most of her time
outside work with her family, and all the family pets, especially her
beloved cat Tigger.
Shyanne had just graduated North Myrtle Beach High School and
was trying to decide where to attend college. Being an animal lover
she always dreamed of becoming a vet. She made friends wherever
she went and would talk to everyone she met. Her smile would light
up anyones day.
Nicole, “Nikki” was just about to enter high school for the first time.
A “monkey” who loved to climb, with the voice of an angel, she was
becoming a very beautiful young lady. She was protective of those she
loved whether they were family of not.
They will be sorely missed by everyone they have ever touched.
Calling hours will be held at Fahys Funeral Home in Norwich, NY on
Wed. Sept. 6th from 5-7pm. Services will be held on Thurs. Sept. 7th
at 10am at the United Methodist Church in MT.Upton, NY.
