Frank L. Mercurio

Frank L. Mercurio Sr., Age 79, passed away peacefully on Aug. 28, 2017. He was lovingly surrounded by his family during Hospice care at his home in Oxford, NY. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Frank enjoyed the outdoors, his grandchildren’s sports events, hunting, and a passion for fishing with friends and family. He loved family golf outings, his friends of the Sidney Center Rod & Gun Club horseshoe league and fun-spirited times of many backyard picnic games with family and friends.
Frank married his wife of 59 years, Susan (Flumerfelt) on Aug. 2, 1958. He pursued her heart after randomly meeting her after a high school pep rally…..and the rest is history.
