May 13,1979- August 9,2017
Tania Church Moore, 38, passed away on August 9, 2017. Tania
was a generous, loving and kind soul, she was a friend to many and
always fought the cause for the underdog. She was passionate about
her artwork and poetry which she shared with many. Tania had the
ability to turn a stranger into a friend for life with just one conversation.
She was always up for an adventure and is known by all who
knew her for her unique and infectious laugh. Tania loved her son
Derrick and wanted to be the best she could be for him. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Margaret Sullivan, Dudley Church and Beth Topp, uncle Kevin Sullivan and aunt Joann Beardsley and many
friends taken by addiction. Tania is survived by her son, Derrick
Moore , Port Crane and his father Jim Moore, Guilford; her parents,
Colleen and David O’Neil and Dan and Betty Church, South New
Berlin, siblings, Jessica and Jim Parker, New Berlin and Dan Church,
Jr., New Berlin, grandparents, Stuart Sullivan, Chenango Forks and
Marion Church, Venice, Fla. She leaves behind aunts and uncles,
Barbara and Dale Clark, Teresa Sullivan and Ray Burns, Keith
Sullivan, Richard and Kathleen Ashton, Martin and Roberta Ashton,
Patricia and Louis Kost and Lisa Church and a large extended family.
Tania loved her son and wanted to be the best she could be for him.
Tania’s final resting place will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Tania’s name may be made to Coalition
for the Homeless of Southern Tier, Inc, PO Box 2281, Binghamton,
NY 13902.
