Breanna L. Christian


Breanna L. Christian, 19, of South New Berlin passed away early Thursday morning, August 3, 2017, at the Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City.
Breanna was born on October 26, 1997 in Oneonta the daughter of Kevin and Robin (Aikins) Christian. She was a 2015 graduate of the Unadilla Valley High School, where she was very involved in the basketball program, and had just graduated from SUNY Morrisville earning her degree in Criminal Justice. Breanna was also currently employed at LOWES in Norwich where she has worked for the past 2 years.
For those that knew her, Breanna was a loving, giving and caring person. She would not outcast anyone and did not care for rude people. Many of her customers at LOWES remember her as being very kind and helpful no matter how long it took or who was waiting. Yes, it tried her patience sometimes but her caring ways took over and let her do the right thing.
Breanna loved to have a good time. She enjoyed a good game of basketball, LOVED to go fishing and was always enjoyed her dogs.
Breanna is survived by her parents Kevin and Robin (Aikins) Christian and her sister Kayla of So. New Berlin, maternal grandparents Tamara (Kevin) Lowe, her paternal grandmother Ann Mae Christian of So. New Berlin along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and a world full of friends.
Breanna was predeceased by her little brother Jordan and her grandfather’s David Christian and John Aikins.
A funeral service for Breanna will be held on Saturday, August 12, at 1 pm from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Pastor Grant Smith of the Holmesville Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery of Mt. Upton. Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 pm and again on Saturday from 11-1 pm.
Following the committal service there will be a luncheon which will be held at the South New Berlin Firehouse.
Please consider the following; There is a savings account set up to receive donations which are for the sole intent of an annual “Breanna Leigh Christian Memorial Scholarship” which will be awarded to a female senior scholar athlete at Unadilla Valley Central School in the spirit of carrying on Breanna’s legacy.
