PAULA TAYLOR
Paula S. Taylor, 61, of Birdsall Street, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Chenango Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle against a long illness. Born April 10, 1956, in Dallas, TX, Paula was the daughter of Bill Taylor and Harriet Buckman. She worked as a bookkeeper at the Northeast Classic Car Museum and the Chenango County Historical Society. Paula was a lover of arts and crafts, and was skilled at sewing, crocheting, making earrings, macramé, and especially quilting. Paula took pride in having created over 500 quilt patterns. She is survived by her two sons, Nick DeBrucque, of Norwich, and Richard DeBrucque, of Greenville, SC, her brothers, Mike Taylor and Steve Taylor, and their children, and her dear friend and neighbor, Peggy Gordon. To honor Paula’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
