James F. Rabbitt, Jr.
1930-2017

James F. Rabbitt, Jr., 86, of Smyrna, NY, died April 13, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica.

He was born December 23, 1930 in Cambridge, MA the son of James F., Sr. and Thelma Hobart Rabbitt. He served with the National Guard for many years. James was married to H. Virginia Doherty.

He was a Salesman for Klingelhofer Corporation and after retiring, went into the truck driving business.

James was proud of being a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was avid reader and also enjoyed golf.

He is survived by his sons, Brian of Cuyler, Stephen of NJ, Kevin of Sparta, NJ and Jay of Gloucester, MA; his grandchildren, April Nemeth of Utica , Nicole Nemeth of Utica , Brittney Nemeth of Smyrna and Jennie Rabbitt of Cuyler; his great grandchildren Tatiyana, Carly, Alivia, Lukas and Caleb; and a sister Ann Delaura of Texas.

Services will be private.
