Sheila A. Frink, 67, of New Berlin, passed away in the comfort of her home on February 9, 2017 with her husband by her side; after a hard fought battle with cancer. Sheila was born on May 7, 1949 to the late Erwin and Ruth (Osborne) Clapp. On June 1, 1968, Sheila married her high school sweat-heart, Thomas Frink at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in New Berlin.
Sheila was employed by Chase Memorial Nursing Home in New Berlin for over 35 years, eventually retiring after many years of being the Executive Manager of Housekeeping. She enjoyed gardening, reading (James Patterson was her favorite author), and had a love for many animals. Her favorite interest was riding her motorcycle all over the state with her husband.
Sheila is survived by her loving family, husband; Tom Frink, children; Johanna Cleveland and William (Tammy) Frink, grandchildren; Andrew Cleveland, Aaron Cleveland and Danielle Frink, great-grandson; Rylen Cleveland, sisters; Peggy (Ed) Warren and Nancy (Mac) Mac Duff, brothers; Robert (Doris) Clapp and Donald (Isabelle) Clapp and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by a brother, Peter Clapp.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. Memorial donations in memory of Sheila may be made to Catskill Area Hospice, 1 Birchwood Drive, Oneonta, NY 13820.
