Deborah A. Webster

Deborah A. Webster, 56, of Morris and formerly of Oxford and Norwich, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at her home in Morris.
Debbie was born on August 23, 1960 in Norwich the daughter of Arnold & Patricia (Snell) White. She grew up in Norwich, attended the Norwich schools and was a member of the school swim team. While living in Morris she worked at T.J.Maxx in Oneonta which she thoroughly enjoyed and it helped her with her “shopping addiction”. She also had previously worked for J.C.Penny and the Erpf Estate in Arkville.
Debbie loved her family, enjoyed spending time with them and had a huge heart. She was always willing to help people, even if she didn’t have much to offer, which was a great help with her job at T.J.Maxx and where she was instrumental in putting together several fund raisers for local charities. Debbie enjoyed her gardening, drawing, offering up free advice and without question SHOPPING. She was a member of the Morris Emergency Squad, liked to bowl and swim.
Debbie is survived by her husband Richard of Morris, her daughter Karen Westcott and fiancé Samuel Merrill of Homer, step-children; Suzanne Brown of Morris, Melinda (Rob) Frost of East Worcester, Brian Webster of Milford, and Mark (Jackie) Webster of Schenevus. Also surviving are her siblings Vickie Burton of Norwich, Sherry (Frank) Bopp of Canastota, Richard White and companion Maggie Dyer of Bainbridge, her grandchildren Cailin Martin, Leila Westcott and Cameron Merrill. Several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Debbie was predeceased by her 2 children Korey and Kelly Head.
A funeral service for Debbie will be held on Thursday, January 26, at 1:00 p.m. from the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeremy Stopford will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
